Sydney has been an unassuming and committed member of DBCF for almost five years, usually attending the afternoon and weekend classes. She never shies away from challenging herself and consistently seeks improvement. The culmination of her efforts were truly seen in this year’s Open workout where she not only achieved PRs but inspired gym members by leaving it all on the mat and not giving up. How long have you been CrossFitting? 5 years
Any sports background? Soccer, Basketball, Lacrosse in high school
Hidden Talent? Whistling
Favorite movement or WOD? Power cleans, Running
Best CF Experience? Everyone cheering me on doing wall walks during the open and getting one more than previous year
What are your goals? Ability to do a pull up and toes to bar. But mainly to keep perfecting my technique so I can move heavier weights
Favorite food or cheat meal? Mashed Potatoes
Why do you CrossFit? To stay healthy
Any advice for newbies? Just keep going and focus on your technique it gets better
